MISSION

Hi, I'm sarah.

I truly believe the most successful projects are a collaboration between home owner and designer. Working to bring your personality into your space is my main goal and I'm honored to build relationships with my clients during our time together.

As early as age five, my mother could tell when I had been in a room because it would have been rearranged and re-organized.  This natural aptitude for spatial relationships, together with creative energy and an eye for all things beautiful have fueled my lifelong passion for interior design.

Before venturing into solo work, I co-founded WITHIN Interior Design Studio LLC and before that, was employed as an interior designer by a number of design firms, most notably Floss Barber, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA and Eastridge Design in Princeton, NJ. I received a fine art education from Cornell College, graduating with a B.A., and studied interior design at Parsons School of Design in NYC. 

In my experience, successful interiors are not only well designed, but also reflect the personality and intention of the owner.  Maintaining a comfortable and personal rapport with clients comes easily to me and helps me to work enjoyably with you to develop your own style and vision before applying my expertise and resources to transform that vision into a reality. 

I provide a full range of interior design and decorating services and offer more than 18 years of experience working as an interior designer. I can assist in a portion of your project or I can manage an entire project from beginning to end: from conceptualization, through design development and documentation, to construction administration and installation.
